The Sfax™ secure EFR (electronic fax record) system for health care has digital signature and annotation features making faxing a paperless operation for health care providers. The launch kicked off with a Webcast earlier this week hosted by CEO Dennis Nasto.

With the addition of the digital signature and annotation tools, Sfax provides health care providers with a paperless and efficient way to send and receive patient health information (PHI) securely, saving users up to 95% of the time and 80% of cost versus manual faxing. The digital signature feature provides users with a digital certificate, allowing providers to digitally sign each fax from a secure, HIPAA-ready platform.  Special annotation features allow users to edit faxed documents with tools such as check marks and text boxes without printing a page.
