Working on the premise that accreditation can be more easily achieved by dramatically simplifying DMEPOS quality standards and by streamlining the implementation process, Sandy succeeded in creating a new model for healthcare evaluation that has gained national acclaim. In addition to founding The Compliance Team, Inc. in 1994, Sandy’s passion for nursing led to her forming NurseSponsors, Inc. in 2003; it serves today as the corporate umbrella for her ad hoc initiative to help America’s nearly 1/2 million, working age, inactive nurses return to bedside patient care.
