BioMedical Life Systems, Vista, Calif, introduces the QuadStarŽ four-channel NMS muscle stimulator. The 6.75-inch x 2.75-inch x 1.25-inch device features user-friendly programming, an easy-to-read LCD screen, and a digital keypad. Instructions guide users through nine preprogrammed protocols; two types of waveforms, symmetrical or asymmetrical biphasic square; continuous, cycled, or reciprocating stimulation; and adjustable pulse rate and pulse width. When the lock system is turned off, it displays a patient compliance meter showing how long the device was used. Equipped with a timer, the device has a touch-proof design and is run by four AA batteries or a NovaŽ wall adaptor. (800) 726-8367; www.bmls.com.

productMobility Vehicle
Invacare Corp, Elyria, Ohio, introduces the InvacareŽ HMV (highly maneuverable vehicle), which provides the aesthetics and ease of operation of a scooter along with the maneuverability of a high-performance power wheelchair. With center-wheel drive for a tighter turning radius, the HMV works as well indoors—in tight spaces and sharp corners—as it does outdoors on paved or grassy surfaces. The plush vinyl seat provides maximum comfort and the vehicle can accommodate a 300-pound weight capacity. (800) 333-6900; www.invacare.com.

productRespiratory Mask
Hans Rudolph Inc, Kansas City, Mo, introduces the ALIZES™, a nasal CPAP/bilevel/NPPV mask and swivel port assembly. Its design allows exhaled carbon dioxide to be vented away quietly, and a new retainer clip secures assembly for rough sleepers. Soft and lightweight, the mask comes in sizes to fit most patients and allows reading and television watching. It features two face-sealing options, an adjustable nose strap, and either a soft silicone rubber mask flange or a supersoft Comfort Seal™ foam. Two types of headgear are available in three sizes of each, and the mask can withstand steam autoclaving, dishwashers, and cold chemical disinfection. (800) 456-6695; www.rudolphkc.com.

productNasal CPAP Mask
The DeVilbiss FlexAireŽ nasal CPAP mask by Sunrise Medical, Longmont, Colo, is engineered to fit a wider array of facial profiles to improve patient compliance while enhancing business efficiency for dealers and laboratories. An air bladder contained within the cushion interface facilitates a better seal and improves patient comfort. The patient can inflate or deflate the air bladder with an air pump located on the side of the mask. With quick-release connections on the forehead pad and “tusks” on the bottom of the mask, patients can remove the mask interface without removing the headgear. productBest of Both Worlds
Permobil Inc, Lebanon, Tenn, introduces the Chairman 2S (C2S) Aeron, which integrates elements of the company’s Chairman 2K full-size adult power wheelchair base with components of the Aeron chair from Herman Miller Inc. It can go up to 7.5 mph, offers tool-free adjustability, and comes standard with suspension in the power base and seating system for a smooth ride. The Aeron’s PellicleŽ suspension material allows air to circulate through it to prevent heat and moisture build-up, conforms to the body, and provides dynamic pressure relief over the seat and back. The multipositional armrest offers height adjustment, angle adjustment, flip-back capabilities, and the ability to pivot laterally 17.5 degrees inward to 15 degrees outward. Standard options include power tilt and an 8-inch seat elevator. (800) 736-0925; www.permobil.com.

The Power Tilt fits most Quantum power bases and offers width and depth adjustment, a 400-pound weight capacity, maximum rigidity in the power tilt position, and lower seat-to-floor heights for easier transfer. The Super Low is available on Quantum Blast 650/850/HD, Quantum Jazzy 1122, Dynamo ATS, and Quantum Jazzy 1113 ATS power bases. It maintains center-of-gravity shift and also has a 400-pound weight capacity, width and depth adjustment, maximum rigidity in the power tilt position, and lower seat-to-floor heights. productFlexible CPAP Mask
Invacare Corp, Elyria, Ohio, has added the Twilight™ CPAP mask to the company’s new line of sleep products. The mask features a solid shell design with a silicone nasal cushion available in standard and large sizes. This allows providers to change the cushion size without replacing the entire mask. Headgear is used as forehead support, eliminating silicone pads that can cause irritation and allowing for better distribution of pressure across the forehead. The Twilight’s main swivel quietly rotates 360 degrees. It comes with a 90-day limited warranty. (800) 333-6900; www.invacare.com.

productSeat Air Cushions
Star Cushion Products Inc, Freeburg, Ill, introduces STARLOCK, a multi-celled air cushion, adding postural control, comfort, and pressure management. The patent-pending technology enables varying degrees of airflow communication between cells. This system consists of multiple air locking mechanisms called “Lockpockets” located at the base of the cushion. As air volume within the Lockpockets expands, airflow becomes restricted and cushion stability is increased. Meeting the challenge of postural control, the product provides easy adjustment to accommodate personalized seating requirements. (888) 277-STAR; www.starcushion.com.
