Delivery Module
FASTRACK Healthcare Systems Inc, Plainview, NY, announced the release of Version 2.5SP4 which offers significant enhancements to the Fastrack Enterprise System for Windows/SQL. This enhanced delivery module is available immediately to more than 700 Fastrack clients. The new delivery module features enhancements to the delivery dispatching, routing, and warehouse automation modules that utilize bar coding, PDA, and cellular phone technology. A small bar code device can be plugged into the cell phone which allows the delivery personnel to scan product, serial, and lot numbers at the point of delivery. In addition, the driver can capture COD amounts, the patient’s signature, and indicate the reason if the delivery is refused. Upon completion, the appropriate information is sent from the driver’s cell phone via the Internet to the server and automatically confirms that the delivery has taken place. New or emergency orders can also be sent to the driver and will appear on a cell-based PDA device. (800) 520-2325; www.onlyfastrack.com.
